Review: American Dad! “Daesong Heavy Industries” (S13Ep15)

Tonight’s new episode of American Dad! was so good, I don’t even know how to give it justice in a review. Entitled “Daesong Heavy Industries”, it begins with Steve going nuts in an Easter egg hunt, which causes the Sunday school teacher to bring him inside to regular church, because he’s clearly too old for Sunday school.
Steve makes Stan start to seriously doubt his Christian beliefs, in a very funny series of events, and the art used to depict Steve and Stan incorporated in a bunch of Bible scenes is amazing. So, Stan develops more doubt, and in true Stan fashion, goes off the deep end with Roger’s hedonistic influence. After that, he has an existential crisis, with depression from the emptiness.
Enter a large ship in Korea, more hilarity with the “Noah Experience”, and a cool cliffhanger ending that leaves us wanting more. Luckily, “Daesong Heavy Industries II” airs next week!
Overall, just an incredible episode. Again, it had the old-style American Dad! feel- must be the writers. Really great stuff. More on the finale next week!
