‘Boondocks’ Creator gets new management
Are you missing The Boondocks as much as I am? Good. Fortunately, show creator Aaron McGruder is still working and to prove it, Deadline is reporting that he just signed a new deal with ICM Partners. Other than Black Jesus, I haven’t heard much else of what Aaron is working on, but he’s got a first-look deal with Adult Swim so maybe this will inspire him to work on other projects.
The Boondocks was cancelled after four seasons a couple of years back, inspired by Aaron’s comic strip of the same name, but not before winning a Peabody Award.
Just cancel this bird already. The chicken is beyond cooked. It's burnt to a crisp.
