Muppets, FOX Toons, Ted 2 and more nominated for People’s Choice Awards 2016
Airing on January 6th, 2016 only on CBS is the People’s Choice Awards, and despite the fact that I normally hate these awards shows, I gotta say, the field is rather impressive.
For best animated TV show, we’ve got Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, and American Dad!, with The Muppets getting a nom for best new TV series and Ted 2 for best comedy film. Granted, I think I would’ve liked to have seen a bit more variety on the animated TV show front featuring shows NOT produced by 20th Century FOX, and for that reason I think South Park takes it home.
Ted 2 was considered a disappointment when compared to its predecessor, but director Seth MacFarlane is still thinking about doing a third chapter. The Muppets are in all sorts of shit right now for ABC, so I doubt these guys get much attention.
People, YOU, can vote right now on who you think should take home the umm….what do these people take home? Seriously, I have no idea what the trophy looks like for this shit.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
