Review: The Amazing World of Gumball “The Check”

The new Grandpa of the house gives the Wattersons a check for $5000, but no one knows how to split it up thus causing mass arguments. A chase ensues featuring invisible cars all the way up to the bank, but just as the five decide to split up the amount to a $1000 a piece, Grandpa shows up and turns $5k into $50. Still, $10 each is nice.

Our Take

No matter what country you live in or where, greed is apparent. At first, one could appreciate all of the nobleness that the kids were showing off with their ideas in how to spend the check, but at the end of the day, everyone showcased a rapist’s wit in fattening their wallets.

The chase scene with invisible cars were by far the funniest part of the story, though the cutaways with all of the kids were comical as well. I would’ve liked to have seen more of what the kids would’ve done with the cast versus getting the parents involved, but overall you should check this episode out.
