Hell and Back is a brand-new animated stop-motion comedy from Shadowmachine aka the studios that brings you TripTank and BoJack Horseman. The feature-length film was recently announced to get a theatrical release nationwide on October 2nd, and now we’ve got our first trailer.
Hell and Back is an irreverent R-rated comedy which stars Mila Kunis (Black Swan, Ted), Danny McBride (This Is the End), T.J. Miller (Cloverfield), Bob Odenkirk (“Breaking Bad”), Susan Sarandon (Dead Man Walking), Jennifer Coolidge (American pie), Rob Riggle (21 Jump Street, The Hangover) and) directed by Tom Gianas (“SNL”) and Ross Shuman (“Robot Chicken”), produced by Corey Campodonico (“Robot Chicken”), Alexander Bulkey (“Robot Chicken”) and Eric Blyler (“Robot Chicken”). The first trailer had me laughing quite a bit, which is good, because the cast is stellar and deserves a good run. I also already love the detail in the characters, a method that is a long lost art in stop-motion that you don’t see a whole lot of nowadays.
