Review: The Amazing World of Gumball ”The Signature”

A bunch of legal paperwork gets put in to play so that Louie can marry Richard’s mom. Before we get there, we had to have a run with Rich’s dad Frankie who started out as a scumbag, but eventually, he comes around before he can do any serious damage, leaving Josephine and Louie to get hitched.

Our Take

This might be an episode where the target audience would get thrown the hell off. Not sure how many legal beagles we’ve got out there watching The Amazing World of Gumball, but if we have ’em this episode is for you. Richard was funny, but I really enjoyed his dad Frankie. I actually was guessing that Frank was scamming the fact that he was Rich’s dad because of the newspaper ad, but that turned out not to be the case. I think the best part of the whole episode was when Nicole when all Xenomorph. Not a TON of laugh out loud bits this week, but it does the job.
