Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and Adult Swim continue their awesome 2015 with Robot Chicken Season Eight!

We’ve been sniffing at this for a while with us catching Adam West’s upcoming guest appearance on Robot Chicken season eight, but now we have it official that the return for one of Adult Swim’s longest running series is closer than we thought.

Starting this Fall on Adult Swim is Robot Chicken season eight, and like years past we are kicking it off with a third chapter of the Robot Chicken/DC Comics saga this one entitled Robot Chicken DC Comics Special III: Friendship Is Magic. According to a press release put out by Adult Swim:

This time around, Batman and Superman’s bromance takes a competitive turn and the fate of the universe somehow hangs in the balance! The all-star cast includes Seth Green, Matt Senreich, Breckin Meyer, Alfred Molina, Nathan Fillion, Weird Al Yankovic, Alex Borstein, Giovanni Ribisi, Jonathan Banks, Mae Whitman, Hugh Davidson, Dee Bradley Baker, Zeb Wells, Kevin Shinick, plus Adam West and Burt Ward.

This is just the latest in major news for both Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and Adult Swim. Stoopid Buddy this year alone will not only be premiering new Robot Chicken, but new web series’ in Camp WWE and SuperMansion whereas Adult Swim JUST announced the final season of Aqua Teen the other day along with a new deal for Hulu subscribers.

No word yet on an official start date for Robot Chicken Season Eight, but Adult Swim’s Upfronts presentation is in just a few weeks so we should know by then.
