English Dub Review: Yurikuma Arashi “I WANT TO HAVE YOU ALL TO MYSELF”

Well, I think the writers are finally on the ball. Yurikuma Arashi‘s latest episode, “I WANT TO HAVE YOU ALL TO MYSELF,” may have actually learned to write a story into the very obvious lesbian bricks you get hit with. It’s been something that has been very neglected during the first three episodes of Yurikuma Arashi. I should get into this a bit.

Here’s the thing. When most of the series made it obvious that Lulu and Ginko are eating everyone and everything in their way to getting to Kureha. What has been left out for so long is that Ginko just wants to give back the love that Kureha gave her when Kureha was younger. Here’s a real zinger. I’m not entirely sure that Ginko really wants to eat her so much as to be there for her and protect her. It’s a stretch, because I barely understand the barely there plot.

The ending came as a shock. I was expecting another flower blow job, like there has been in almost every episode thus far. The surprise came when Ginko was caught in a bear trap when she went after a girl named Kaoru. She is the girl who is, for all intent and purpose, the person in charge of the Invisible Storm. After weeks of wracking my brain, I think i figured out what it is. It’s an exclusionary process that makes Mean Girls look tame. The entire school population singles out a girl to make invisible. Ginko sees Kaoru as a threat, and that’s how we get to the ending scene of “I WANT TO HAVE YOU ALL TO MYSELF.”

I appreciate the attempt of putting a story in here. But there are a lot of faults in the implementation. I think that if it were implemented earlier, this could have had a lot of time to flesh out a bit. Unfortunately, this just seems rushed, and the writers realized a little too late that they had nothing but flower blow jobs and Yuri Court. To each their own, but this train is fast on its way to Lost Town. At least there is an attempt to shoehorn a story in here.
