Jack and Triumph gets a start date on Adult Swim

Last week we weren’t quite sure when Jack and Triumph, the new series starring Jack McBrayer (Wander Over Yonder) and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog (Robert Smigel, ”TV Funhouse”). Now we know.

According to Deadline.com, Jack and Triumph’s multi-cam series will premier February 20th @ 11:30 pm ET/PT on Adult Swim according to an announcement made at the TCA’s this past weekend.

What’s most interesting to me about this start time? I can’t recall Adult Swim premiering an original series on Friday Nights, but apparently 20 episodes are already ordered with seven kicking off in February. We’ve seen Adult Swim put original programming on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday Nights, now we get to see Adult Swim on a Friday Night. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
