DVD Review: The Legend of Korra ‘Book Three: Change’

The Legend of Korra Book 3 was a bit of a turning point for the franchise, unfortunately for all of the wrong reasons. This was the first season that Nick would take off of TV and put on online exclusively which is one hell of a way to say goodbye to a franchise. Thankfully, no matter what happens, Korra fans have the DVDs and they come with a lot of great extras.

I personally enjoyed the production diaries for a lot of the episodes, and one of the things that really struck me was just HOW detailed the producers got in episodes. Everything from the effects that certain powers and explosions had to character development, it’s all pretty incredible to say the least. I would’ve like to have seen some contributions from the voice cast, but all in all the Korra fan should be thrilled here.
