”The Funk

Lord Hater’s supposed to be showing up for an invasion, but he’s nowhere to be found. Turns out he’s back in his room just having a bitch fit and nothing seems to help.  The Watchdogs try and break him out of it, but Hater just doesn’t give a shit anymore. Eventually, Peepers takes Hater to a moon where he can scare the shit out of its inhabitants and that seems to do the trick. We get an acid trip near the end that seems to put Hater in his place just in time for the Wander and Sylvia to show up.

Most of this week’s episode is one long montage. The idea initially sounded like a lot of fun, but overall I was kind of bored. The ending was sort of cliche, and Hater just came off acting like a 16-year old girl. Certainly not one of this season’s best efforts. The climax got a little better, but the episode seemed to be in a funk.

The Enemies”

Hater gets into an epic battle with Brad, but Wander shows up to try and smooth things over with a game of Hide and Seek. The two work together to try and find/destroy Wander once and for all. After looking all over for Wander, the two evil dudes decide to trap Wander via a snare.  Hater’s plan doesn’t work, so Brad tries his, but to no avail. Wander shows up, and Hater snatches the poor bastard. The two evil doers end up fighting over who gets Wander, but no one gets him. To try and get back at him, both Hater and Brad combine swords and capture Wonder.

Again, another episode of Wander where the cash-prize is a montage. Also kind of odd that BOTH episodes of Wander didn’t really feature a whole lot of Wander or Sylvia. A rather sub par episode overall, but there’s another one later this week so maybe the series can redeem itself.
