Uncle Humidor

Uncle Humidor’s in town and he’s looking do draw a rare bird. To try and get a close up the guys send in Grumpy dressed as a bird, but the birds take him in as his own. Unfortunately, no one can get him back, so the dwarves have to build a machine that can send Humidor flying in for the rescue. And yes, Humidor gets his drawing.

I love Michael McKean and he plays pretty well with the cast and crew of The 7D. I feel like that a lot of the plot elements were heavily borrowed for this one which is a bit of a let down. However, the dialogue was lively enough to keep me interested.

Grim the Genius

Grim messes up shit all the time, so after singing about it he decides to go see Doc in an effort to try and make himself smarter. As a result, Grim dons a disguise and sees the doc who hands him a gem that really does make him a ‘smartypants’. Grim heads back to see Hildy, and after coming up with a plan to take over the castle, she goes CRAZY. As Grim takes over, Hildy becomes Queen, and the 7D becomes crocodile food.  Eventually, Hildy grows tired of the smarty Grim, and the 7D shows up to take his smart stone. The Glooms get sent home, and the 7D toast to another victory.

A popular trope with 7D usually features the Glooms getting a hold of some sort of a trinket that alters their abilities. It gets a little old, but Grim was pretty hilarious as a smart guy especially with all of the smarmy attitude. Hildy will go back to being a bitch next week, but it was a nice change of pace to see her act nice towards her dude.
