Ted 2 Holds a ridiculous Casting Call in Boston

A Ted 2 casting call (about which we previously reported) took place on Saturday in Boston.

According to Boston Magazine, the ad from Boston Casting (such creative names these companies have) encouraged people to dress like characters from movies or comic books, although this was not a requirement. The amount of hopefuls that showed up stretched five blocks past Boston Casting’s HQ.

As Boston Magazine reported, “Many in line had set aside the entire day for the casting call, which ran from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some traveled from as far as Connecticut.” Oh my gosh, Connecticut? A whole state away? Did they have to take a spaceship to get there?

The event begs the question of what type of scene they might be casting for. Mark Wahlberg, the film’s star, hinted that the sequel might be a road trip film – could they be going to Comic-Con? I guess we’ll have to stay tuned.

Ted 2 is slated for release on June 26, 2015.
