Bento Box revealed to be producing ”Harold & Kumar” animated series
Yesterday, Bento Box Entertainment (Bob’s Burgers, Brickleberry) had posted a bunch of photos on their Facebook page of the cast and crew of Harold & Kumar the animated series! Which tells us a few things about the series:
1) Bento Box is indeed producing the series, which (and I could be wrong on this) would be the first time Bento Box has had an original animated series for Adult Swim.
2) Futurama’s BILLY WEST(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) was part of the table-read, which tells us he’s on the show!
3) So far, Kal Penn, David Krumholtz, and John Cho are part of the series, however there’s no sign of Neil Patrick Harris despite the fact that Adult Swim has announced the Tony host as being part of the show.
This is the first-time we’ve seen anything in terms of news for Harold & Kumar the animated series since early last year, so it looks like that not only are the wheels moving, but a 2015 start-date does NOT seem out of the question.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
