Liquid Television returns…but we’ve seen this before

Remember when we said yesterday that Liquid TV was coming back? Welp, we were all kind of duped…hell even Gawker bought it.  However, we here at Bubbleblabber are a bit more on top of our game when it comes to shit like this and we’ll tell you why right now…Liquid TV didn’t really come back.

This iteration of Liquid TV that will be premiering five episodes on Youtube isn’t brand-new one bit. As a matter of fact, you can buy all five  episodes of Liquid TV on Amazon.com because that’s where they went last year after airing brand-new on Hulu.com. This is in complete contrast to the press release that was sent to us earlier in the week indicating that we were getting new episodes of Liquid TV:

Beginning today fans will get a crack at 5 new episodes of the popular MTV franchise “Liquid Television” that will be made available to the public for the first time for free via mtvother.com, the MTV App, Xbox, Facebook and YouTube. “Liquid Television,” based on the original animation series that aired on MTV from 1989 – 1991 and served as the launching point for many iconic animation series including Beavis & Butthead, stays true to the original format with a collection of animated shorts that range from psychedelic to sincere to sometimes just weird.

New episodes will be available beginning today now and continue to roll-out every Thursday through June 12

Well, now that episode one has posted on Youtube, anyone that saw our reviews from last season will see that we really didn’t get new stuff this go around. For those interested, here is a list of all five episodes  of Liquid TV with corresponding reviews:
