Review: Annoying Orange “Meet Banana Monocle”

This week we get a Behind the Music doc where the fruit form a band and Nerville narrates the story to tell us all about it, so you know this one’s a lost cause. ”Banana Monocle” is the name of this music act and right away we start to see a growing audience. Unfortunately, the band learns all about the shitiness of the music business when midget apple gets replaced by a drum machine and Orange gets auto-tuned to the point of no return. The band eventually turns to this doctor who zaps the fruit and gives them legs, but no arms. This helps the band reach super stardom, but everyone in the band starts turning into prick motherfuckers like most pop stars are. Dave Grohl shows up and decides to jam with the band with Kylie Minogue showing up as some sort of a spy, but it doesn’t matter the fruit shrink, but Grohl still plays on.

Give it up to Annoying Orange for getting Dave fucking Grohl in as a guest star. Kylie Minogue is still a piece of ass, too but nowhere near as famous. Also, this episode of AO, was rather accurate to what the music biz is like, and anyone who is trying to get into that game should definitely take a look at this one because I can speak from experience…it’s true.
