Here are Five Ideas for Spin-offs of popular Animated Shows

1) Brickleberry/Trailer Park

trailerpark

We actually went through a whole thing about a ‘Trailer Park’ spin-off and I still think it should happen. For those who need a refresher, the concept stems from an episode of Brickleberry called ”Trailer Park” where Bobby has to go and live in a trailer park after being evicted from Brickleberry and right off the bat we get to meet a whole cast of awesome characters that bring exciting ideas for episodes. And you know what? I think waiting from Thanksgiving ’13 thru Fall ’14 is a bit too long and as a result I think some Brickle-esque flavor in between would do just fine.

2) Rick and Morty /MeeSeeks

meeseeks

Given what happened the last time the MeeSeeks were on Rick and Morty, I have no idea how we would re-intro these characters, but already you can tell these guys have been the talk of the town since the episode has aired. Seriously, read about this show on Adult Swim’s Youtube, Twitter, or Facebook pages and I guarantee you see a bunch of comments about the MeeSeeks. So why not a show all about the MeeSeeks? Put it on for 12 minutes right after Rick and Morty, and I guarantee this show takes off.

3) Metalocalypse/ Dr. Rockso

rockso

There are actually a couple of ways we can go about this character. For starters, how about a series all about Dr. Rockso becoming a Doctor. Seriously, am I the only one who wants to know HOW he became a doctor? Did he practice medicine? Did he provide therapy for patients? I’d really like to know!

The other way a series surrounding Rockso is his supposed history with hard drugs. It has been said that Rockso has had run-ins with drug cartels and what not so why the hell not see how Rockso lived in the day to day in this era, and just let him loose!

4) American Dad/ Reggie the Koala

reggie

I think Reggie would be a GREAT character to spin-off because of his capoeira fighting techniques and the possibility that he can use those techniques for crime fighting on behalf of the CIA. I also think this would be a great way to keep characters like Bullock and Dick long after American Dad goes off. And depending on how Jeff turns out, we could have an excuse to keep Hayley around to rekindle some of those old flames from yesteryear.

5) Fish Hooks / Friends Hooks

Fish-Hooks-Pool-Party-Panic

Last year Fish Hooks had an episode called ”Pool Party Panic” where the entire cast of fish were depicted as kids and it worked! The show featured the exact same cast and in a sense the characters seemed more real not only because they were people, but you could identify a little better with the different types of kids a lot better. How are people supposed to relate to slugs or mussels? The characters presented in this spin-off helped propel this episode to ratings numbers the series hadn’t seen in a real long time.
