Spoilers Below

The kids are heading to camp, and Bea’s got a new boyfriend in Brandon. Oscar’s pretty upset, but everyone shows up to the camp and we learn that Salmons and Muscles are running the joint. Ms. Salmons aka Mr. Salmons’ sister , Savannah, is also here but she’s a pain in the ass for her brother. First night there and Bea gets all smitten with Brandon, but when she tries to talk to Oscar about it he wants nothing to do with it.

The next  morning, Mr. Salmons takes the kids hiking, ziplining, and way more hiking.  Savannah gains the ire of Mr. Salmon again, but worse yet Brandon starts spending time with the other girls in the camp instead of Bea.  Milo decides to talk the other fish into going to Camp Crystal Water where Savannah works and decide to spend their summer there instead. Coach Salmon catches the fish in the act and he starts crying. Turns out the Coach and his sister have quite the storied history. Eventually, Bea discovers that Brandon is trying to woo a different girl and she decides to leave all distraught.

The rest of the fish feel sorry about hurting their Coach’s feelings so they decide to help him beat Savannah at being the best camp. The kids head on over to Crystal Water so that they can help make the camp lame, but Oscar catches a rather depressed Bea. After talking with her, she decides to go with him and the other fish to trash Crystal Waters and steal their trophy. Savannah shows up and explains her story, and now brother and sister enjoy each other’s company. Bea dumps Brandon, and Crystal Water gets fixed up.

I’m starting to like the 30 minute episodes of Fish Hooks a bit better than the 12-minute variety. Usually the longer episodes provide for deeper and more thought-proving stories whereas the shorter episodes go for more gags and what not. The premise was another competition episode and that kind of devalues the overall arc in a sense, but there was still a whole bunch of the good stuff to keep me entertained.
