Episode 3

In the third episode of The Fuzz we finally met Herbie’s new human partner, Sanchez, after the puppet cop got promoted to detective and head of the new Puppet Crime Task Force. Or some name like that, I don’t feel like looking it up.

The show’s other plot line began to take shape as well, when Rainbow Brown met thug Jake’s Uncle Sonny, played by former Sopranos actor Joe Gannascoli.

Episode 4

This episode helped the audience really get to know Sanchez, and he is emerging as one of the funnier characters on the show. From the cheap-looking PSA the partners make, to the drinking contest at the end, The Fuzz is looking more like a buddy comedy with every passing episode. Although the plot moves slowly, it is a well-produced, fun, and funny show. Between the silly sound effects and the amusing writing, you’re guaranteed to laugh out loud at least a couple times per installment.

So hit a couple of those jellybeans, sit back, and enjoy the ride-along.
