Review: MAD ‘Lukewarm Bodies/Does Someone Have To GOA?’

Lukewarm Bodies

Zombie movies have jumped the shark. Even the zombies think they’re lame. The lead zombie from Warm Bodies tries to change this. He grinds up the brains of RPatz, Michael Jackson, Johnny Depp and Justin Timberlake to pour on the charm and try to woo his lady. He fails miserably. So he shows up at her balcony to warn her about an impending skeleton monster attack. As they escape, they encounter Jack Skellington and beat him in the head with a fire extinguisher. Zombie boy takes his gal and saves her by jumping out of a door and into a pool. When they breach the water, he’s normal again.  His entire zombie make up has come off. Jack Skellington then breaches the pool water for one final scare.

Does Someone Have To GOA?’

The Green Lanterns are meeting to discuss the recent shortcomings of the movie and show. The Lanterns are then given the chance to choose who gets fired. There’s a Real World style video montage. The votes are tallied and Hal Jordan himself is voted out of the team. There’s a pretty funny “Where are they now?” Segment at the end.
