A little while back we reported on Seth Rogen exec producing a new animated series called Bigfoot inspired by Graham Roumieu’s faux Bigfoot autobiography graphic novels In Me Own Words, Me Write Book, And I Not Dead. Well, now Deadline.com is reporting that Bigfoot has now been ordered to pilot by FX.

The pilot is said to be written by American Dad scribe Matt McKenna of whom is also Executive producing; Point Grey Pictures’ Rogen and Evan Goldberg; Roumieu; Mosaic’s Jimmy Miller and Sam Hansen; and Floyd County Prods’ Adam Reed and Matt Thompson.

No word yet as to whom would be voicing the titular character but Deadline would further describe the series as a project that revolves around Bigfoot, everyone’s favorite crypto-zoological hominid, as a modern-day everyman who struggles with life’s philosophical quandaries as well as his own animalistic tendencies.

If you kids are keeping track at home, this now means everyone on the cover of the soon-to-be released This is the End has had a major role in an animated series or has one on the way with the exception of James Franco.
