‘Game of Thrones’ star to guest star on ‘Futurama’ Finale

And yet another show I know nothing about will have a guest star appearance coming up, this time on Futurama.

Earlier this week we reported on Family Guy getting a bunch of Downton Abbey guest stars for next season and of course I know NOTHING about the popular PBS series despite the fact that its crazy popular. Enter this news story coming from Entertainment Weekly that is reporting Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is set to voice a spot as part of Futurama’s series finale. Game of Thrones, yet ANOTHER show I know nothing about but I know its popular as hell. That said, we know Matt Groening is a fan because some time ago The Simpsons did a Game of Thrones couch gag.

Emilia has bagged a classy role, too as according to the article:

“She falls in love with Dr. Zoidberg — the smelliest character on Earth in the future — but she can’t smell him, so it’s a match made in heaven,” explains series executive producer David X. Cohen. “However, being a doctor, he has the opportunity to perform a nose transplant and give her a sense of smell, which would destroy their romance, so it’s a big dilemma.”

This isn’t the first time that Emilia has been seen with an animated character as last year it was widely reported that she was banging out Seth MacFarlane. The other day Comedy Central put out a new trailer for an upcoming episode of Futurama and you can check that out here.
