Bubbleblabber UK: BBC Three picks up Season 11 of Family Guy (@familyguyonfox)
Months after cancelling UK’s attempt at emulating Family Guy, BBC Three decides to go out and get the real thing.
Starting this Summer, BBC Three will begin airing the 11th Season of Family Guy a few months after cancelling the home grown attempt at a similar show called Full English. BBC Three has secured the first run broadcast rights according to an article on TVWiseUK and will feature a bunch of episodes like the Griffins climb Mount Everest; Lois has a mid-life crisis; Meg falls for a boy who turns out to like her brother, Chris; and Brian and Stewie leap into action after they discover the company owned by Lois’ dad, Carter Pewterschmidt, has found the cure for cancer.
We just posted up a review for the 11th season of Family Guy here. But, I’m wondering if the licensing money could’ve gone to another home grown effort like the one Josh Weinstein (Futurama) wants to do.
Just cancel this bird already. The chicken is beyond cooked. It's burnt to a crisp.
