Spoilers Below

There’s a bully at school named Rufus and he terrorizes the Bernsteins and Pesto. This kid goes by ‘the slapper’ and Wyatt doesn’t seem to be afraid of him. That said, Crash goes missing and no one knows where he is. Wyatt decides to call the cops, but really we find out that Crash has been kidnapped by Slapper. Slapper either wants Wyatt’s bike or he won’t ever see Crash again! That said, Crash can get REALLY annoying, and Slapper is starting to learn this the hard way, and as it turns out Wyatt even convinces Crash to stay over at this kid’s house so that he can drive him SO nuts that he won’t ever take other people’s things again.  When Crash hears about this plan he freaks out that he has nowhere to go, because even Rufus kicks his ass to the street. When Rufus goes to school the next day, he tells Wyatt what happened which has the kid bolt out of the school looking for his brother. Thankfully, Wyatt finds Crash and tells him why he wanted to do what he did, so when the purple one goes back to Rufus’ house he decides to get one last crack. Hell, Crash has Rufus so crazy he and Wyatt corner the dumb bastard and make him give back all of the kids’ stolen items.

Mel seems to tire of Crash’s BS as he is constantly destroying the house. So, when Crash goes missing guess who Amanda blames for his disappearance? MEL! All of the sudden, Amanda starts doing chores and when Mel hears why she is thrilled! As a matter of fact, she starts to take this fear of Amanda’s for granted and force her to do a bunch of crap she wouldn’t ordinarily do. Eventually, Crash rises from the grave and we roll to credits…

You don’t often see plots revolve around a kid standing up to bullies which really is a refreshing change from what we normally see in the shows we cover. Yep, ever since the days of Nelson Muntz, we’ve been taught to fear the big kid, but then again Bart never had a Crash. Zachary Conneen was a pretty convincing bully, and does a great job acting it out. Yea, he acts a bit rough around the edges, but I think with some more screen time he will be good to go. Aaron Landon on the other hand continues to disappoint as Pesto, and as a result if this show does get picked up for a season 2, here’s hoping they recast him. Mel’s story was actually pretty funny, as it was good to see her character work up a bit of a mean streak. This week’s episode I certainly wouldn’t categorize as jacked, but as good? Sure, why not…
