Is the MC Chris cartoon finally on its way?

 

A week ago on his personal Facebook page, MC Chris posted an innocent looking picture of a small remote control helicopter with a short statement. “I bought this remote controlled helicopter for when my cartoon gets green lit. When the show is a go, then she flies. But that was a year ago.
I just want to let you know that I have dusted it off. That is all.”

The next day we see a similar photo, only this time the box is open. The statement is untouched sans the last line which now reads “I just took it out of the box. That’s all I’m saying.”

Does this mean we will finally be seeing the MC Chris cartoon? And since Adult Swim passed on the show a year ago, where could it possibly land? My personal thought is that since Titmouse is so heavily involved on the project we might be seeing this show over on the Rugburn channel. I’m not too sure any major networks are in the market for a cartoon about a former rapper (and Adam Richman impersonator) turned time traveler. But then again, Anthony Jeselnick and Nick Kroll both have TV shows, further proving that most of you idiots will watch anything they put after Tosh.0 and Workaholics.

Personally I can’t wait to finally see this show! I’ve been a fan of MC since he voiced Hesh on Sealab 2021 and all the crazy voices on Aqua Teen and he just recently did a bunch of music for the new “Jay and Silent Bob Super Groovy Cartoon Movie.” He may not be everyone’s cup of Earl Grey, but the man does put on one hell of a live performance. His set at Nassau Coliseum during the ’08 Vans Warped Tour might have been the highlight of the show. That was also the same day Gym Class Heroes decided to cover “Laid To Rest” by Lamb of God and I lit the world on fire with my mind. (Ed. Note, I hope that means bad)

Anywho, good for MC! Can’t wait to finally see the show and you can make DAMN sure we’ll be here to cover and review it!

Now if you’ll excuse me I’m off to listen to “Fett’s Vette” for the 14th time
