Book of Mormon is  coming to London and South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are doing the press tours leading up to the Feb, 23 debut. Recently, the guys had a chance to talk with UK’s The Guardian about the show and more importantly the guys’ thoughts on how their home state of Colorado is at the forefront in terms of civil rights:

 “We’re from Colorado, and look at the way Colorado’s gone politically in the last few elections, it’s now gay-friendly, weed-friendly, gun-friendly. There’s an element of Colorado that I think is in us.”

That together with the Peyton Manning-led Denver Broncos looking in the playoffs, might have Matt Stone and Trey Parker acting awfully cheery and one has to wonder if they are gonna be miserable enough by the time South Park starts swinging back.
