50 CENT ANIMATED SERIES MIGHT BE ON THE WAY WITH Carl Jones AS WRITER FOR FOX

I know NOTHING about hip hop music, but I know who 50 Cent is. Why? His brand is immeasurable and as someone with a degree in business you have to admire how he continues to expand that brand. From making a bunch of money on Vitamin Water, to multi-platinum albums, and a budding movie star 50 Cent isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. To prove it, recently Deadline.com reported that 50 Cent is currently in negotiations with FOX for an animated show that is loosely based on his life as a kid and that a pilot/presentation is on the way. According to the article the show follows a mischievous but well-meaning boy who often tangles with his eccentric family and neighborhood. 

This sounds like it would be a disaster, but Carl Jones is on board as the writer so if there is anyone that could do this show justice, its the guy that makes Boondocks and the 2012 Best New Show of the Year Black Dynamite.Both of those properties were based on some sort of source material and were produced masterfully for Adult Swim so I think Carl can take those same types of attributes and use them on a FOX show.
