COMICS REVIEW: BART SIMPSON #76

FUND-RAZING
Gil goes to the school hoping to lure the kids into selling a bunch of shit so that Skinner can line his own pockets causing Bart to cause a prank that made it so the kids are convinced the grand prize winner gets $10k. Lisa convinces Bart to start destroying the stale food so that Gil doesn’t look like a bad guy when he doesn’t come up with the money. However, when Bart tries taking out the last of the boxes, the bullies intervene but thankfully are convinced (with a bit of a white lie) that selling the rancid treats will lead to no good and as such destroy the rest of the bounty.
FLIGHT OF FANTASY
Milhouse’s imagination gets the best of him when he thinks he and Bart are ancient Greek legends that are some how able to fly but instead crash land into a kiddy swim pool.
SOUTHERN FRIED SIMPSONS
The family come across an old and spooky house that seems a lot worse than it really is. Eventually, the owners of the estate come home and tell the out of town Simpsons where to get food and gas. However, when Homer sees the receipt after filling up we get the REAL shocker!
Makes perfect sense that we’d have a spooky story in this issue of Bart Simpson versus the Treehouse of Horror issue but hey, I don’t make those calls. That said, the only story that was really any good was ‘Fund-Razing’ with the other two stories really just shorts and adding really nothing of great value to this month’s issue.I will say the last story had a rather funny punch line but the younger fans won’t get it.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
