TVLINE GETS DEETS FOR SIMPSONS “TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XXIII”

 

TVLine sure is getting impressive with its Animation Domination exclusives proving once again bridges are always better built than burned. Having said that, they did do a good job of getting some new details from Al Jean about the upcoming “Treehouse of Horror” special for The Simpsons’ 24th Season and this year we are getting parodies of Paranormal Activity, Back to the Future plus demonic possessions, and the end of the world:

“We have a segment where a mini black hole terrorizes Springfield and starts sucking everything in, and it’s to tie into the discovery this summer of the Higgs boson,” he says, referring to the so-called “God particle.” (Attendees at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con were treated to a sneak peek of this part of the ep.)

The Simpsons return this fall on FOX on September 30th,2012 and you can check out the trailer below for the new season.
