We are at the halfway point of our fair television viewing year and as such we thought it’d be bad ass to do a list of the highest scoring animated series of 2012…so far. After the jump, see who made the list with contributions made by all of our writers. Now to see who is number 7 on the best animated series in the first half of 2012.

Am I the only one who talks with Phineas whenever he says “Ferb, I know what we’re gonna do today!” and then the subsequent, “Hey, where’s Perry?”The show’s premise very seldom changes from episode to episode and why should it? Phineas and Ferb is a HUGE money maker for Disney so why the fuck would anyone want to change anything?? From toys, to live shows, to DVDs, hell chances are while you are reading this I am drinking Nesquick chocolate milk that came from a can with Perry’s face plastered all over it…

When the writers do mix up the premise a bit, that’s when this show really gets to shine. Episodes featuring the likes of Minor and Doof’s daughter have been working really well, and sometimes they will throw in plots involving the parents or Candace that kind of shakes things up a bit and gives us all a breather from the normal stuff. I don’t know how the people who make this show do it, but they are and as such they put out quality product that is certainly the cream of the crop over at Disney and more importantly the #8 show on the best shows of 2012…so far
