MTV INTERVIEWS AL JEAN…TALKS ZOOEY Deschanel GUEST APPEARANCE ON “THE SIMPSONS”

Al Jean recently interviewed with MTV.com and during the interview he was asked about Zooey Deschanel’s guest appearance on The Simpsons returning as Bart’s former love interest:

Zooey Deschanel will be back for the next season premiere in September. She’s reprising her role as Mary, Cletus’s daughter. In the episode, she goes to the city, and we give her an Audrey Hepburn/Breakfast at Tiffany’s makeover.

Is it just me or do I already REALLY miss The Simpsons? The 23rd season was so great and I’m really looking forward to September for the premier. In the meantime, FOX did announce the Maggie Simpsons short set to appear in front of screenings of Ice Age: Continental Drift in which you can read more about here.
