Brian’s a good dog, so he takes Stewie to the park where he meets a little girl named Penelope and they quickly become friends. Penelope even takes Stewie back to her house for a play date where they play with dolls, exchange complex mathematic formulas, and where she shows off her weapons room. Turns out Penelope is very much like Stewie even going so far as to pretty much killing her mother. Soon the budding couple set off on random acts of violence, everything from picking fights with the Middle East to bombing Jews (not the same thing in this case). The chaos gets so out of hand, that Brian tries to convince Stewie to stop seeing Penelope of whom is clearly a bad influence on him. Of course when Penelope catches wind of this she asks Stewie to kill Brian in the name of love. Obviously, Stewie can’t do that so Penelope tries to kill Brian herself which leads to a sci-fi gun battle between Stu and Penelope that ends up with Brian being saved!

Meanwhile, Peter keeps crushing Lois while in bed together so Lois opts to get ‘Lucy and Ricky’ beds to avoid any further injury. However, Peter can’t sleep in a bed by himself so he asks Quagmire to sleep with him so this way he can get some rest. Quagmire obliges because he also is uncomfortable in sleeping alone while trying to sleep. Weird enough, not only does Quagmire start spending nights at Peter’s house, but Peter is just as willing to have sleep overs at Quagmire’s house. As a matter of fact, they end up spending quite a bit of time together almost like a gay couple would minus the sex. Soon though, Lois and Peter start missing each other’s company and end up sleeping together again.

First things first, Cate Blanchett was absolutely a perfect option to play ‘Mrs. Stewie’ and as a result Penelope was just as evil and with no shortage of gadgets to hold her back. The last sequence with the gun battle was probably one of the best Family Guy fights in years. Having said that, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, NO ONE does better animated fist fights then Family Guy. Obviously, the Peter fights with the chicken are renowned folk lore, but over the years we’ve had great ones with Stewie vs Brian, Brian vs Quagmire, hell even Meg has had quite a few tussles. Idk what it is, as you would think Archer would be the best at fights but that show probably has more car chases then great fights, when Family Guyhas fights, they THROW DOWN and the same holds true for Mr. and Mrs. Stewie! The b-plot with Peter and Quagmire was funny, but to be honest it kinda felt rushed and just thrown in there to break up the craziness going on with Stewie and Penelope. Even the cutaways kind of got in the way of the great job the writers did with more non-sequiturs offered up by the quick  banter that Stewie and Brian have mastered over the years. In short, the ‘A plot’ with Stewie and Penelope was legendary, whereas the ‘B plot” similar to Meg, was mostly forgetful.
