REVIEW: ARCHER “LO SCANDALO”

Things are fishy when Archer and Lana stumble onto Malory in a dark room holding a pistol fastened with a silencer with the Prime Minister of Italy  sitting across from her dead with a bullet-riddled corpse featuring a dildo shoved up his own ass. Despite the apparent evidence, Mallory denies that she killed the man, as a matter of fact as it turns out she’s been banging the Prime Minister for a number of years now, and he’s into some freaky shit.

Mallory claims that three bad guys storm the room, punch herin the stomach, and assassinate the Prime Minister. Thinking that she would be tried for murder, Mallory wants to chop up the body and remove it from her apartment, but instead Archer calls in Doctor Kreiger(who looks as though he’s done this once or twice) who apparently invites the rest of ISIS to check out the corpse.

Soon enough, the NYPD gets an anonymous tip that there’s a dead Italian Prime Minister in Mallory’s apartment, so the whole team has to put on a big facade of a dinner party to forego any suspicion of a dead body lying around. Which it isn’t anyway because its been chopped up, put into doggy bags, where they are strategically placed all over the five boroughs in various trash cans. But, does Mallory’s story hold up?

Adam Reed gives The Usual Suspects a run for its money in this week’s twist-filled episode, also leaving us clues as to who Sterling’s real father is. I thought it was funny as hell how everyone has iPhones in a time period that also has our characters all wearing clothing pertinent to the 1960s that would make even Jon Hamm look like a hobo.
