Updates about new animated projects coming from FOX

For a while now we’e been following the development of a new animated series called Murder Police being put together by FOX Inkubation(headed by former South Park Jennifer Howell) grad Jason Ruiz and former Family Guy producer David Goodman. For those who don’t remember Murder Police has been labeled ala “Scooby Doo solving murders” by Ruiz himself. Now we are hearing that we may actually get to see some form of this during FOX’s recently announced Saturday Night animation block as a sort of testing ground for the impending series.

Also, it looks as though FOX is looking at more unconventional type offerings from another Hollywood heavyweight. Yep, according to inside sources Jack Black is said to be developing a new show animated show called Tiny Monsters with Ali Rushfield and is said to be about a group of typical junior high school girls who are more on the bitchy side.

Finally, CNN.com did a interview with the producers of Napoleon Dynamite about the new show.
