Spoilers Below

MARGE GOES GREEN

Marge is told that there is a hole in the ozone layer directly above her house that is causing lethal UV rays, as such she goes through a slew of different and extreme measures to reduce the carbon footprints the Simpsons are responsible for.

MAGGIE’S FIRST DAY

Homer takes Maggie to work with him and apparently she does a better job at being in charge of safety than her dad. Of course, Homer gets all the credit in this tale coming from the MAD man himself Sergio Aragones.

“I’M LISA SIMPSON, WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?”

Bart knocks out Lisa with a Wii controller and blames it on her impending amnesia. Suffering memory loss, the Doctor tells Bart to help Lisa to regain her memory, but Bart just takes advantage of the situation and actually grooms her to be just as mischevious as Bart. Soon enough, Bart can’t take anymore of Lisa’s bad behavior so he knocks her out again the same way he did before.

MAGGIE’S CRIB

Maggie imagines Jurassic Park while playing in a sandbox at the local park.

Overall, this was not that great issue, as the majority of the stories weren’t Bart Simpson stories, and rather felt out of place where they maybe should have been in a “Simpsons Comics” issue.  As a matter of fact half of the stories were Maggie ones, maybe this should have been “Maggie Simpson #1.” “Maggie’s Crib” also felt like a ripoff of some Calvin and Hobbes strips from back in the day.
