It’s Christmas in Quahog folks, and everyone’s in the spirit. But, when Lois’ father Carter takes Stewie for a ride, they get into a pretty bad car accident. As such, Carter’s wife Barbara persuades her husband to retire, however, this means Carter has a ton of free time, this includes hanging with Peter’s friends, and making false promises to his grand-kids. He soon gets on everybody’s nerves, so Lois and Peter convince the seniors to move to Florida and look at some retirement homes. Carter hates the idea, so Peter attempts to show him the ropes of hanging out and having a good time at the home. Its great, there’s bingo, a thermostat and people feed you, and eventually Carter comes around and begins to enjoy his time at his new home!  But, just like anything else, doing the same deal different day scenario gets old and Carter turns into a zombie of sorts, and Peter and Lois have to save him!

I forgot all the gags that were in this week’s episode, and that’s a good thing. Take your pick the “Every pizza place” (who orders a salad?), the Herbert gags are always classic, especially because we haven’t seen him in a while, and Joe’s bloody pee nearly made me puke. Yep, it’s a Family Guy Christmas!
