John’s Review: South Park “Broadway Bro Down”

This week on South Park, Randy brings Sharon to a bunch of Broadway shows in the hopes of getting a steady supply of ‘Ol’ Fashions and Shelley Marsh makes friends with a local vegan kid named Larry.

Spoilers Below!

Randy is in my opinion, the funniest character in South Park. Dear Lord, who can forget such classics as “Creme’ Fraiche”, “Crap Verification” and “You Have 0 Friends(not all Randy but he has the best parts)”, but now you can add “Broadway Bro Down” to the list. Not only that but this week’s episode might be the best one of the year!

So, as it turns out if you bring girls to Broadway shows there are subliminal messages throughout the songs about blowjobs…who knew? And to think I’ve been trying my luck by bringing girls to see movies(also apparently bringing a girl to go see “Transformers” is NOT a turn on)!  We also find out that the only reason why famous Broadway producers like Elton John or Andrew Lloyd Webber even bother with show business is because they like blowjobs too!

“Tricking bitches into hour long blowjobs is an ART FORM! You have to leave it to the professionals!” -Andrew Loyd Webber

This is totally a Randy episode, the kids are really nowhere to be found, the only one who has any sort of subplot is Stan and his sister Shelly who are left with their neighbor vegan babysitters and their asshole kid Larry.  Matt and Trey paint a perfect picture of the typical dickhead vegans who like to throw it in your face that they don’t eat meat.

Other great highlights in this episode was the “bro-off”, Randy’s take on a blowjob song, and last but not least Randy showing up to a performance of “Wicked” dressed up like Spider-Man swinging from the rafters destroying the show! Good to see South Park show how idiotic some Broadway concepts can be.
