#NYCC: MTV delivers one-two punch with Good Vibes and Beavis & Butt-Head

So, I’m crashing at G’s place the night before Comic Con. Just sitting there, eating my Popeye’s when all of the sudden here comes “Jersey Shore”. Ugh, I hate this thing, I really do but G loves it so what can I say? With this in mind I walked into one of the panel rooms for the first premier of the day with a horrible taste in my mouth and hating MTV…only to walk out feeling nothing but “Good Vibes” from the artists formerly known as Music Television(but still hates the Jersey Shore).

The Howard Stern show’s Baba Booey was on hand to launch this panel featuring Adam Brody(OC), Josh Gad(Book of Mormon), a super-hot Debi Mazar, Olivia Thirlby, and Alan Tudyk, and despite all that talent I thought Gary did a great job(and no he didn’t use a personal day), and as such you would think the producer of the Howard Stern show gets to see a lot of boobs right? Welp, upon viewing the first episode of Good Vibes, the answer is yes because this show has a ton of boobage. All types too, if you like man-boobs, girl-boobs, old-lady flabby boobs, then setup your boob tube for Thursday October 27th because this show has them all!  The plot of the show revolves around a kid named Moody(played by Gad) who moves to SoCal from Jersey with his mom(Mazar). While there, he meets a new local friend named Woodie (Brody)who shows him the ropes around town.  In any case, this show looks great and the first episode was hysterical. Full review to come next week.

The next night, G went to cover the Beavis and Butthead panel and from what he’s told me America’s favorite 10th graders are going right at the MTV jugular with shots at all of MTV’s top shows like Jersey Shore, 16 and Pregnant, and more. Oh yea, and you Twilight motherfuckers are next! One notable shout out was the return of Daria for a cameo, but I’m willing to bet with enough swarming support that comes back and of course the possibility of a second B&B movie!

In any case, Thursday nights are gonna fucking rule this fall on MTV, and I can NOT wait!
