Watch: Pee-Wee Herman was almost Roger Rabbit
Before we got the masterpiece that would eventually be called Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Disney tried its hand at producing a Roger Rabbit movie between 1981 and 1983. And as you can see in this video from TheThiefArchive, Disney Had VERY different plans for the franchise, including having Paul Reubens (aka Pee-Wee) as the voice of the titular character to go along with a number of other changes.
I love Paul, I think he’s one of the greatest screen actors of our time. However, I couldn’t imagine anyone else being ‘Roger’ than Charles Fleischer, he’s just the best. Watch a short doc below to get all of the dirt:
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
