TBS/Adult Swim Parent to Launch Multiple Subscription Services
Hulu, Netflix, Seeso, Turner Broadcasting? Yep, according to Deadline.com Turner Broadcasting is working on multiple online streaming options with a couple to release before the end of the year. According the piece:
He wouldn’t specify what Turner will offer but said they “could be at our existing networks” and might be “brand extensions for passions where people might be willing to pay us.”
Adult Swim already has an app for iOS and Android, and obviously Turner has a few deals in place, but one can’t deny the fact that a bubble is expanding in the streaming video service arena and a pop could be lethal to content producers. In any case, new content could help convince people to jump all over some of these streaming services, so BRING IT ON!
