Mr. Pickles is set to premier on September 21st @ 11:30 pm ET/PT on Adult Swim, which is great because Robot Chicken only ended a few weeks ago and I’m already chafing on lack of anything new on Adult Swim. I just watched the first two episodes of the series, and together with the pilot I gotta say…this is one fucked up show. But it’s beautifully fucked up, I was talking to a friend of mine that’s in the industry who does this for a living and has worked with Jay Johnston (the voice of Mr. Goodman) and I straight up told him that this show is upping the anty on Adult Swim violence but doing so with a certain ‘Lassie’ sweetness.
