Sony teams up with Channel Frederator to procure new content

We just told you guys last week just how big Channel Fred is, but it looks as though we aren’t the only ones noticing. That’s because Channel Frederator has teamed up with Sony to produce a number of animated shorts that will premier once a month on the GO! Animation network. The shorts will be paid for by Sony, but only a select few cartoon producers are going to have the opportunity to utilize Sony’s animation operations.

This is just the latest effort of Sony to really dig into animation geared towards an older audience as they are currently producing Sausage Party for Seth Rogen, and currently serve as producers for Robot Chicken. As of now, no premier dates, creators, or even names of programming have been announced, but when we find out we’ll letcha know.
