Seth Rogen talks up ‘Sausage Party’ on Stern

You know it sounds good when Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Bruno) has seen it and has said it’s ”the craziest thing he’s ever seen.” Yep, Seth Rogen was recently on The Howard Stern Show where be was promoting his new film opening this weekend called Neighbors. Whilst there, Seth talked about his upcoming animated rated ‘R’ film called Sausage Party which also stars  pretty much everyone in This Is the End and Seth was merely talking up the feedback he has been getting from his acting/writing peers.

Other notes from the film include:

  • A food on food sex scene
  • Megan Ellison (daughter of Oracle’s Larry Ellison) is a financier for the film
  • Right now, the film has a budget of about $20 million but still has Salma Hayek, Jonah Hill, and James Franco

For those that don’t know, Sausage Party is a CG rated ‘R’ film about a group of sausages that want to be purchased for Fourth of July weekend, but they get lost and have to return to their store shelves before time runs out. The movie is set to be released sometime next year for Sony Pictures.
