Review: Uncle Grandpa ‘Hide and Seek’
Spoilers Below
Everyone in the RV loves hide and seek except for Uncle Grandpa. Turns out he had a past experience with a friend named Tony who went to hide, but Grandpa could never find him. Fast forward to today, Grandpa finally decides to join in with his pals. To hide, Tiger, Bag, Gus, and Steve all find a lamp like five feet from Uncle Grandpa, but the son of a bitch doesn’t even find any one for ten friggin days, but you know who he DOES find? Skele-Tony! Yep, turns out, Tony was in the closet this whole time and he is PISSED when Grandpa finds him. So much so that he chases Grandpa under the same lamp where the rest of the crew were hiding this whole time. Tony easily finds everyone and threatens to kill Grandpa. Uncle G. challenges Tony to another game of hide and seek, but now he doesn’t have to find him.
Uncle Grandpa Space Trip
Uncle Grandpa and Belly Bag decide to chew some gum so that they can travel in space. Unfortunately, space-traffic pops the big huge bubbles causing everyone to end up on the rings of Saturn. So how do they get back? By chewing gum of course!
Chewing gun is really gross, chewing gum I hate the most. However, the real star of this week’s episode is Skele-Tony which continues to showcase this series’ innate ability to create characters separate from the core players that not only work and look great, but are hysterically funny. Seriously, I want five more episodes of Skele-Tony. He’s almost like High Five Ghost, but with better jokes. Also, just the fact that the entire premise revolves around Uncle G. being totally oblivious to easy Hide and Seek locales is pretty damn good. The Space Trip jaunt was somewhat plain and boring, but Hide and Seek is worth the watch.
