Review: Uncle Grandpa ‘Future Pizza’

Pizza Steve touts the fact that he knows Italian Karate and can even break shit which his bare hands. When UG goes to get a water bottle, Uncle Grandpa from the future shows up and claims that the slice of pizza is about to do something that would ruin his trust in Steve. Future Grandpa goes back through his portal and Steve swears to never do anything to cause his friend distress. This causes Steve to contemplate retiring from doing awesome things, but event that could injure Uncle G, so instead of not doing awesome things, he does ALL of the awesome things. We eventually do learn what causes the confusion from earlier, and future Steve shows up to make sure Steve still does awesome shot.
Board Game Night
Grandpa is PSYCHED because it’s board game night, but all of their games are destroyed with the exception of one. At first no one wants to play, but we learn that the game is kind of like Jumanji where everything on the board comes true including Gus going to jail and Steve getting a wife and kids. Tiger ends up in a zoo, Grandpa gets surgery, and Belly Bag ends up in the garbage.
Uncle Grandpa continues to chug along with quality week after week as we get closer to the Season One Finale in a couple of weeks on Cartoon Network and yes it’s about time we get more Pizza Steve! Seriously, he is the funniest character on Cartoon Network and this week he proved it. Anyone a fan of his lovable gloating about achieving unrealistic tasks will get a kick out the activities he takes part in this week with maybe the best one being the Italian Karate. The second animated short for Board Game Night was really great and definitely brought to mind Jumanji only that Uncle Grandpa has better acting. And yes, pizza should be in everyone’s future.
