Review: Uncle Grandpa “Food Truck”

Uncle Grandpa comes up with a new sandwich called ‘Burger Dogs’ and the guys love it, so much so that Pizza Steve opts to start a business with Uncle G. so that he can make a bunch of money and purchase a jet. The duo ends up fitting the RV to look like a food truck and customers seem to really enjoy what comes out of said truck. Eventually, Uncle Grandpa is so tired working the grill that Gus tries to convince Steve to let the chef have a break. Better yet, the rest of the staff quits when Gus uncovers the real reason why Steve wanted to  open up the fucking truck to begin with. To help, Steve finds a ‘Food Fabricator’ that clones whatever food is already made which causes the RV to turn into a big huge burger dog. This causes the customers to invade and eat everything and almost everyone inside. The cannibalistic customers even start eating all of the money that Steve made, so our fabled Pizza hero burns tires in everyone’s face and ruining their appetites. The customers run away, and Grandpa gets HIS RV to go.

I remember when every animated series was taking a turn at the ‘food truck’ game. Regular Show, Bob’s Burgers, you name it. So, I’m glad to see the producers of Uncle Grandpa waited a bit before releasing their own version of a ‘Food Truck’ deal, and better yet, the episode comes off as more selfish than the others. Pizza Steve is just so god damn funny, I can’t stand it. I like he just naturally assumed that everyone in the RV was going to raise money for HIS jet! Also, this is my first time seeing the ‘Tiny Miracle’ character, and I like him a lot and I’m glad to see Tom Kenny is doing the character. Unfortunately, we got a rather lame short. What I wanna know is when are we going to see some shorts featuring ORIGINAL characters like they did in season one? Give me a little of THAT!
