Review: Regular Show ‘Wall Buddy’

It’s Chimi-Changa time!!! Benson goes to the guys’ room to look for his phone, but when he goes in the room looks like SHIT. When Mordecai and Rigby return to their room, Benson flips out and orders that the duo clean the room. Most of it is Rigby’s, but Mordecai has to pretty much restrain Rigs from escaping from his responsibilities. Benson gives the two an ultimatum of 24 hours leaving Rigby to clean his room by himself after Mordecai leaves. Later, Rigby hears of a new item called ‘Wall Buddy’ which lets you divide the room in half. Rigby gets one and then puts his trash in Mordecai’s half of the room leaving the Jay to clean up his room by himself. Soon, the Wall buddy goes nuts in a command battle between the two leaving the contraption to basically destroy the house. Mordecai ad Rigby apologize and decide to find the reset button for the Wall Buddy. They eventually do that, but the house is still a wreck and Benson is pissed. However, the room DID get cleaned so Benson can’t do SHIT!
I liked this episode for the following reasons. 1) How often do you see Mordecai and Rigby NOT in the same scene? 2) We established last week that burritos win out and that holds true this week with the chimichangas. 3) Because Rigby is starting to remind me more of a Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin in that he keeps buying shit to avoid having to do any manual labor. The wall itself was OK, but I thought it was TOO easy and void of any discernible personality. The premise overall was great, but the episode felt like a check-swing.
