Spoilers Below

Mordecai, Rigby, and Muscle Man are trying to find a laser disc because they found a rare laser disc that is so ultra rare and henceforth they have to watch it right friggin now. Problem is everyone keeps laughing in the guys’ face but eventually end up at a library of whom seems to have one downstairs.  Even at the library the chances of finding a player look slim but when the guys break out the laser disc they have in tow the librarian tells the whole back story of how VHS had won the format wars. Turns out this guy did have the player all along but having thought that there was no chance of getting a disc he kept it stowed away in a safe only operable with a laser disc key lock. After doing up a rather unreal ritual the laser disc shows up ad the guys look to check out. Unfortunately, even after getting a library card, the ‘Ancient Order of the VHS’ shows up to stop Mordecai and Rigby from watching the movie. Thankfully, the guys have the ancient formats here and they KICK ASS!! That is until the VC Arbitrator shows up and knocks out the librarian. Well,  we thought he was. Turns out he is the laser disc guardian and he RUINS the VC Arbitrator! Thankfully, the park guys get home OK and are able to watch their movie…which is REALLY long.

You know what I hate?? The fact that I don’t get to buy the same drugs as the Regular Show writers do. Seriously, whatever they get its good because they make the best product and it’s quite evident here. The guys tug on all sorts of nostalgia for the older fans, offer kick ass action for the younger ones, and of course the best jokes in cartoons laden throughout. Just give these guys the Emmy already…anyone who disagrees shouldn’t.
