The Grill em up Truck has a new menu item called the Ulti-meatum which might be the grossest and most glorious thing ever conceived. But, Benson keeps getting on Mordecai and Rigby for not doing all their jobs and forbids them from getting in on the meaty and juicy action. After a slew of repeated attempts to try and make a break for the truck the guys have to go and clean Skip’s garage. While there they find a highly dangerous Hologram 9000 to make copies of themselves so that they can go and get their burger on. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fool Benson for long and he sets off to stop Mordecai and Rigby but not before the clones come to life for a showdown on who gets the last two burgers for the next 100 years. But, as always the boss always wins.
Wow, Regular Show is just pure genius this week! The opening scene where the Grill em up truck is promoting their new creation was masterful, and it got me thinking that the Belchers from Bobs Burgers could learn a thing or two. Benson acts more and more like a Bill Lumbergh every week, and you had to love the climactic battle at the end that had twist after twist in the overall plot. What I don’t like however is an old episode smooshed with a new episode which is a practice that networks like Disney and Nick have mastered over the years, but as I can’t blame the show’s producers for that…
