Review: Regular Show ‘Tants’

Pops is celebrating the park’s anniversary with his corny gifts but better yet Thomas is still wearing his ridiculous Halloween costume. Mordecai and Rigby get Tants but end up giving them to Muscle Man who seems to really want them. Problem is Pops is kind of putting the guys on the spot after giving the Tants away so now Mordecai and Rigby have to go get their tants back from Muscle Man. Of course when the guys go to get them back the Tants are dirty as hell, but you can’t wash them like pants and the guys learn that the hard way. Now they have to get new ones, but Mordecai and Rigby can’t afford the $200 items. Pops schedules a tants lunch, so the guys decide to make their OWN tants. Eileen is great with a swing machine and soon all three are off to the races in creating their own pairs of tants before tomorrow.
From the looks of it Eileen does a pretty good job, but when the boys try to remove the Tants logos to put on their new pants, this Nixon sounding dude comes by with Tants soldiers and is pretty much screaming rape. The boss of the crew threatens to burn the new pairs of tants, but Pops comes down having heard a confession from Mordecai and Rigby as to what went down. Thankfully, Pops is pretty understanding and forgives the guys, but not before getting free tants!
Oh yea, a tant is pants that you where with a table built in. Makes sense, right? Actually, all of the combos were pretty hysterical, and the boss of the company was class Regular Show bad guy in that he’s so over-the-top that he’s almost unbelievable. I didn’t like the montage, but this week’s episode should certainly be tried on.
